Ranku School

Ranku School is located at Wurankuwu (Ranku), a small community on western Bathurst Island. The school is managed by the Catholic Education Office and, after not being operational for a number of years, opened in 2017 with about 15 students. This has enabled families to return to live in the region. To further their secondary education, Ranku students move to Xavier Catholic College at Wurrumiyanga, Tiwi College at Pickataramoor, or to boarding colleges in Darwin or interstate.
